The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to meet the needs and help friends, family, and alumni still represent the schools name, all while being just sales associate for my school's campus store. The hardest part of the job was inventory because we had a variety of accessories along with apparel that had to be accounted for. As a store we catered to that of our Native students and help represent that through our apparel that showed my school's pride. The culture of the workplace was incredible, so much history beyond the store, every representative of today's indigenous tribe attended that school and walked the paths I did, each and one of them were my friends with so much history of their own. We didn't only have a strong professional relationship but also a strong friendship. Management was amazing, I got along perfectly with my boss, we rarely had disagreements, but when we did it was resolved quickly. This job taught everything there is to know about running a successful apparel store and catering to the customers needs. ![]() In 2016, the most popular Bachelor's Degree concentrations at Haskell Indian Nations University were General Business Administration & Management (34 degrees awarded), Native American Studies (19 degrees), and Environmental Science (16 degrees).
